China has mandated that public commercial elevators must be maintained and maintained every two weeks, and mandatory annual inspections are required.
At present, household elevators are not classified as special equipment in China, so relevant institutions do not supervise or enforce maintenance deadlines. However, when there is always wear and tear on the machine, even if the maintenance time is not specified, in order to extend the service life, reduce the probability of failure, and eliminate safety hazards, we should also regularly inspect and maintain household elevator equipment, as well as conduct annual inspections.
In fact, the profit from maintaining household elevators is very low because the components of household elevators do not wear and age as quickly as commercial elevators. In the first 10 years, there was basically no cost of replacing any components, so owners do not need to worry about the maintenance costs in the later stage.
Another cost to use is electricity. Generally, the electricity cost of a household elevator is very low, especially for a traction type household elevator with a power of only 1 kilowatt. A traction type household elevator generates electricity costs of about tens of yuan per month. For example, screw and hydraulic types, due to their forced drive, the power is slightly higher, usually between 3-4 kilowatts, and the monthly electricity cost is around 100 yuan. Of course, this also depends on the number of times the elevator is used. Elevators in standby mode are like computers in standby mode, which do not consume much electricity, so users do not need to turn off the power switch when not using the elevator. Frequent switching of the elevator power switch can easily damage the electronic components of the elevator.
